A wrinkle free suit
Jun 09 2011
One of the perks I have is to choose my own made to measure suits from the world’s finest fabrics. I am quite conservative in my tastes but I must admit that I am very particular about the design, weight, feel and composition.
This is why I am very patient when a customer takes the time to decide on their fabric.
Recently I received a small range of cloths that were in a wool/ polyester/Lycra mixture. At first glance nothing really special, but in spite of being a bit of a cloth ‘snob’ I decided to have a suit and extra trousers made up. The finished result was something very different to the same fabric bought as an ‘off the peg suit’. The reason for this is that the suit contains soft Italian interlinings combined with a crisp modern engineered construction. The overall feel of the suit is extremely comfortable and a pleasure to wear.
I then wore the suit every day for a week and even drove the car wearing the jacket (something I never do). The creases in the jacket and the trousers recovered very quickly. The price of the 2 piece suit at £495.00 is excellent value and would be a useful addition to any wardrobe either as a travel or a summer suit.
