It takes all sorts

Jan 13 2011

My customers come in all shapes and sizes, every walk of life and level in society. I have a wealth of stories I could tell about them but I respect their privacy. However from time to time some of their lives are revealed in the press.
In today’s Times one of my customers Terry Freeman pleaded guilty to a £14million fraud. Last month John Campbell another career conman was jailed for attempting to sell a Scottish estate that he didn’t own.

Both men bought suits on a regular basis as they needed to be well dressed and have that immaculately bespoke tailored apperance . I did not have any problem with payment except Terry does owe me for one pair of made to measure trousers.
The problem being that he was arrested by the police before he had chance to pay.
Both men were so good at their jobs (apart from getting caught) that I had no idea at the time that they were involved in anything illegal. But it does take all sorts!
